I cant see my friends on a minecraft server not mine just a server we can't find each other please help?

Try pressing the 'TAB' button located on the far left of your keyboard. It will list all players online the minecraft server. If the server has '/tpa' (allows players to request a teleportation to the targeted player. Example: /tpa Nyrd64) then you may be able to find them that way. Another way is to press 'F3' and tell your friends your coordinates or vice versa.

That is probably because you do not have any other people on the server. To let other people onto a server you need to give them your server ip.
