Not at all. In fact, that would mean that you have either more maturity, or you're still sensitive to the violence in them. Which means you are smarter than most of the Desensitizes teenagers and Hardcore gamers out there.
On the other hand, I'm a teenager that plays violent games, And i don't have mental issues of any sort. so it doesn't always turn out that way.

I do not necessarily believe that video games contribute to violent behavior in adolescents because I think kids and teenagers know the difference between right and wrong. Many parent have incorrect ideas about video games. Such as was stated in the first article, if a kid was spending a lot of time playing the piano or doing sports they would be considered doing something good and healthy where as if they spend a lot of time playing video games it is considered unhealthy. Video games can be an outlet for stress and it good for everyone to have a way to deal with their stress. Most teenage boys play video games so to say that the typical violent teenager was made that way by video games is a little ridiculous. They all play video games and they are not all violent kids.
Why are video games bad for you?
If you do not play video games obsessively and do not sit overly near the screen then you are fine. The physical symptoms are that it can hurt your eyes when playing video games. Many scientists have tried to link video games with violence but they have drawn up the wrong conclusions. They believe violent video games leads to a violent way of life but that has not been solely tested and therefore the results are inconclusive If your not playing video games 10 hours a day or something its not bad. If you do and don't eat healthy at least you will be FAT, and have bad eyes. If you don't play to much they are good for you because you get better hand eye coordination. Also they can make you very HAPPY!!

Only a certain base of intelligence and, I'm sorry to say, morals passed down by the family someone grew up in, can make someone violent or non-violent. I, myself, (the answerer) play dozens of video games with violent content, including, but not limited to: Halo and its sequels, Fable, World of Warcraft, Ages of Empires, the Call of Duty series, and other "M" rated, violent video games. I also take martial arts, for use in self defense. I am very non-violent, even taking into account my bi-polar disorder. What the MAVV (mothers against violent video games) propagates are studies PAID FOR by the MAVV, and therefore support their argument. I think that children who have been bullied,mentally and/or physically abused are more likely to become violent than the average gamer. Watch Bowling for Colombine, which shows that the shooters in the Columbine incident didn't play video games, nor did they play paint-ball before killing all those students, they went bowling, something most people see as non-violent.

There should be no reasons. As a parent, you should be able to tell if your kid is mature enough to handle the violent game without it transferring to his life. Just read the back of each game, there is a MSRB rating showing whether your kid is old enough for the game. If you think video game violence truly made your kid violent, your wrong. It is all about the parenting.

Not entirely. Some believe that video games may lead young people to commit violence and/or emulate the things they've seen in them. I believe that those people who do emulate the things seen in video games probably had something wrong with them in the first place or didnt know right from wrong. Ultimately, it is up to the individual. Im 25 and i have never taken a Barret 50 cal up a belltower.

well i can tell u that ummm....researchs say that stimulation games can cause u a headache but can also refresh your mind but yea violent stimulation games can cause an impact in your brain causing you to show violent behaviour (altohugh we burn calories when we play an adventerous or stimulation game because of sweat so its wrong to say that playing games causes obesity)
