Ambient temp. For outside temp readings.
Try rear of radiator approx. 1/3 from the top
its by the under side of the radiator
Try the rear side of the radiator about 1/3 down from the top
Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. Look for a two wire sensor behind the thermostat housing and under the coil. That is it.
The radiator fan on a 1998 Plymouth Voyager won't turn off if the engine is overheating or the temperature sensor is defective. The fan is designed to only work once the temperature has pass a certain threshold.
try replacing your coolant temp/sensor $5.00
A Plymouth Voyager does not have a maf sensor.
A 1996 Plymouth Neon does not have a maf sensor.
Where is the engine management and ignition sensor on a 1999 plymouth voyager?
Either the fan is burnt out or the sensor that tells the electric fan when to turn on is bad, you can wire the fan directly to the battery to see if it's good.
The engine computer uses the coolant temperature sensor to decide when to activate the radiator fans. That sensor is the two wire one near where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine. The engine computer uses the coolant temperature sensor to decide when to activate the radiator fans. Your sensor is part of the MAP sensor which is located On the SOHC look behind and to the left under the top radiator hose you'll see the wires going into a fitting. On the DOHC it's to the right of the oil dipstick under the fuel rail.
