It sounds like his Samsung either had a fault or was simply not installed correctly. It takes a few minutes to make sure they work properly. A moment with the manual may well fix the problem. So, Samsung is as good as any for good quality 3D images.

How flicker occurs in 3D TV?

Flicker occurs when the right & left images are out of sync with the glasses. When the glasses are properly synchronized, there is no noticeable flicker.

Why is your Samsung 3D TV making you dizzy?

If you are noticing a flicker it normally means that the batteries in the glasses need to be charged. Make sure they are charged at intervals and they will work just fine.

Do Samsung 3d glasses work on all Samsung 3d TVs or is there certain glasses for certain tv modals?

All Samsung active LCD glasses should work with all Samsung sets.

What does flicker free mean?

Flicker free means that an image is free of flicker. A well set up 3D television should be free of any noticeable flicker. Sometimes a flicker can be noticed when batteries in the glasses are discharged. Charging them usually fixes the problem right away. Note that LG promote their passive 3D televisions as being flicker free. Although they use passive glasses, they also deliver just 50% resolution compared to active 3D televisions. This is the compromise for having glasses that don't have batteries.

How can you fix the flickers in your 3D glasses?

Flicker is a common problem in active 3D TVs but they can become more serious if the 3D glasses are low on battery. Check the battery on your 3D glasses. You can't completely fix the flicker problem on active 3D TVs. Passive 3D TVs are supposed to be better with flickers. LG 3D TV is certified flicker free and gets almost no flicker at all.

Recently I bought a Samsung 3D TV. For some time. it worked great. but after couple of weeks. it started causing problems like image flicker and picture overlapping. Kindly suggest me any 3DTV?

Should I dump my Samsung 3D TV which always gives me a flicker images while watching 3D movies?

If you can afford to simply dump a good television, then why not consider the Toshiba auto-stereoscopic 3d television that requires no glasses. It's close to $10,00 but one who can afford to discard expensive technology can surely afford such a price. Alternatively, why not get the glasses properly set up and charged and then the flicker will probably go away.

What if you get glasses will your friends be your friends?

How come Samsung 3D TV s have flickers if they are so expensive?

My 3D Tv is producing flicker in 3D mode but in 2D mode it is working fine So Is there any manual setting which I should undergo to cut down the flicker?

Flicker is quite common when we are viewing contents in 3D mode though in 2D mode it works fine. This usually comes when you use active glasses. If you are using passive glasses then you won't experience any flicker and also there would be no health related issues as well. LG uses passive glasses in all its 3D TVs.

I just viewed Toshiba 3DTV at my local electronic store But I noticed tremendous flicker on it. please tell me which 3D TV can create flicker-free 3D images.?

3D television is an emerging technology and the market is changing fast. There are two type of 3D television, one that uses active glasses and the other that uses passive glasses. The passive glasses are considered to have less flicker but at the expense of some resolution. Active glasses have been criticized for flicker but as the technology develops this is likely to become far less of an issue. The only way to decide if a particular model is right for you is to see it and experience 3D on it. Your own perception of flicker and general quality is the best way to assess the latest products and models.

Will lg 3d glasses work on a Samsung tv?

LG televisions use passive glasses so you will not find LG active glasses. Actually, LG has made several models of active 3D televisions, despite their current push for passive. LG glasses such as the AGS100 will not work with Samsung televisions. If you are looking for lower priced glasses for your Samsung TV, try the Monoprice website.
