If you can use a word as strong as the word hate about her then you clearly don't care about her enough. Some times people mistake feelings like curiosity for love. If you hate her then its best to just let her go. You could try to still be friends but it may not be worth it. You should just do what you feel is right in your heart. You will know whether its the right decision.
