I hate the service provider for cable and internet in my area. I tried using clear and that didn't work for the amount of things I do online. Is there another company I can get internet through? One that is Nationwide or something?
I believe you are referring to Clear Wire. Clear Wire is an internet service provider (ISP) that does not use wires or fiber optic cable to transmit the signal to end users. Clear Wire uses wireless transceivers to deliver internet service to both residential and business users. Their website can be found at: http://www.clearwire.com/
The best DSL services of internet are from Verizon and Clear internet service is good as well, but is mostly wireless.
You must have high speed internet connection and high end VoIP service provider.
There are a couple places I saw in Houston offering wireless internet service. It would seem that the clear choice would be Clear Internet Houston at one of their various locations in the Houston area.

They have a new internet service called Clear that is wireless and is located in almost every state and can be purchased at a local Best Buy or electronic store.
You can check to see if your cable provider offers an unbundled option of internet service only. Not all will do this, but some will. Even though DSL is not an option for you, a cellular modem might be, especially if know you already have good service where you live. Sprint, Clear, AT&T and T-Mobile all offer these type of modems. They are like cell phones, but they only provide data to your computer. If 4G is an option in your area, that will be much faster and will be the cheapest as you likely won't have a data cap.
In Dallas, TX, one of the more popular choices for wireless internet seems to be through a company called CLEAR. They have a variety of service plans and packages to choose from. If you are interested, please visit: http://www.clear.com/plans.
Here is the link to the Clear coverage map. You will see that many of the major US cities are covered under their internet service. You can view the map at http://www.clear.com/coverage.
