How do you remove a 2001 Saturn L200 stereo?
The trim piece around the air vents / stereo / heat controls can be pried off first. Just go to the bottom and pull gently. The only thing attached at the back is the Trac button so watch that at the top. Once off there are two bolts holding the stereo in a chassis that includes the little storage box (in my car anyway). There are 2 screws on either side of the stereo attaching it to the chassis. At the back of mine there was actually 2 harnesses. One was the actual feed to power and the speakers and the other was between there and the stereo. They are easily removed. Hope this helps.

i work at circuit city and i can tell you that you have either a short in your lines somewhere, or your speakers are blown. if they've never worked, perhaps they're disconnected. if you are knowledgeable, replace the wiring doing from the stereo to the back speakers, but i would recommend taking it to a pro cuz it requires taking a lot of the car apart on the inside. hope this helps! also, try changing the fade/balance. it may be screwed
