The trim piece around the air vents / stereo / heat controls can be pried off first. Just go to the bottom and pull gently. The only thing attached at the back is the Trac button so watch that at the top. Once off there are two bolts holding the stereo in a chassis that includes the little storage box (in my car anyway). There are 2 screws on either side of the stereo attaching it to the chassis. At the back of mine there was actually 2 harnesses. One was the actual feed to power and the speakers and the other was between there and the stereo. They are easily removed. Hope this helps.
