I have a 1970 GTO and the fuel gauge does not work. Not sure if the problem is in the fuel tank sender wiring or in the gas gauge. Is there a website someone can direct me to troubleshoot this?

a lot of the older cars 80 models and earlier had a small module on the back of the gas gauge if they went bad it would not register correctly hope this helps.
I would say the ground wire at the back of the tank, up by the center of the tank just above the rear differential is broken off or is a bad ground.. Very common and I just fixed mine when I changed out the gas tank ;>)
