I have a 1988 Ford F150. I can turn the key on and the fuel pump relay will click and I hear a click in the fuel tank but the pump doesn't come on.?

I had the same problem with a 1990 F 250. I changed everything it still was an intermittent problem. I tried to check for codes when it happened and it never had a code. Finally I changed the computer and the problem stopped changing the computer. It's very easy: it is just above your left foot when you are seated in the driver seat 1990 was 3 polts very long with 10mm heads try a junk yard comp first if it works buy a new one. Good luck.
