if you really want to know what the biggest motor is that you can get go to www.2geez.com and they have it posted on there which is the biggest you can get and how much it is!
No. The Prelude has a B20A5 motor. The civic will have a D-series tranny. They will not interchange (B and D series parts do not interchange).
The a/c fan motor resestor pack is on the evaporator case.
Stock motor that came in an 1990 Honda Civic Si is a D16A6. SOHC NON-VTEC motor. should be found on the block directly back from the radiator cap on below the cylinder head. The number is stamped on a flat area on the block.
most likely not because the 1990 is probably more advance than the 1988...
Yes it will. Make sure you replace your motor mounts as they are most likely torn.
It's hard to say, as the question didn't specify what kind of solenoid are you attempting to fit, and the 1990 Prelude had a mid-cycle refresh which included an improved motor.
In most cases you can but it mostly depends on what motor you have in your 1992. I cant say for sure but i think there d-series motors, and if in fact that's the case in your car then as long as the 1990 or 1993 transmissions were on a d-series motor then it should be fine
