I have a 1995 vandura out of no where it makes a whining noise in engine compartment when accelerating slowly..or when in park touching the gas lightly...goes away if i give it more gas...what is it?

The noise is probably your serpentine belt, it may be out of adjustment or it may need to be replaced, or one of the pulleys might need to be lubed. Good luck
