I have a 2002 Malibu LS V6 it turns over about 4 times then starts. After that it runs like normal when idle or driving. It's not the battery so what could it be?

If the check engine light is on then you need to have it diagnosed. If not then replace the fuel filter.

I would replace the fuel filter and check fuel pressure. A clogged can lead to a $500.00 fuel pump replacement.

you shouldn't have to, just reset radio! if car runs funny it will be ok in a few starts.

Start with the battery terminals and connections on the other ends of the battery wires. Check the battery itself as a loose plate in the battery could be heating up and shorting the battery for a moment causing the problem.
