yeah, it could cut off after a while. i dont know about noises, some are different, but oil pressure is definitley something you want to watch. oil is the life blood of your motor, well you know, gas is the fuel, but it needs good oil. you should fix your oil pressure though if you want to keep it running. check for leaks.
