I have a 2005 jeep grand Cherokee the engine light comes on code shown is P0700 anyone know what this is?

HO2S (A/F) Sensor Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
symptoms
Other than the MIL light illuminating you may not notice any performance issues.
cause
A short in the O2 sensor heater circuit or the sensor itself
A faulty O2 sensor heater
Wiring or connectors are broken or frayed to the sensor or relay
Bad PCM or ECM
The fix
Correct wiring short or loose connector found in inspection.
and/or
Replace the bank 2 sensor 1, O2 sensor
Replace PCM if circuit has failed and no wiring issues present, good O2 sensor

∙ 14y agoP0700 : EATX code present. EATX : electronic automatic transaxle There is a code in the trans computer. You need to have the TCM checked for codes.

∙ 14y agop0051 is nothing to worry about immediately, it is just the O2 sensor meaning there is a leak in your exhaust, or you may need to have your O2 sensor replaced which is usually the case

Sounds like your thermostate is stuck. Work on it only after the engine has cooled down. Follow your top water hose from the radiatior to the top of the engine. Remove the hose from the engine, being ready to catch any fluid that comes out. This part is called the neck. Remove the neck, and under it will be the thermostate. Remove, clean the bottom of the neck and the block of the engine. Replace with the correct one. Hope this is help.

does anyone have this problem with their 2007 grand cherokee larado, during wet weather or during the winter when its slushy out, the lift gate light comes on and the interior lights stay on. used the dimmer switch to shut interior lights off ? I disconnected the battery overnight and after the weather clesred and everything was dry I reconnected the battery and all was back to normal. Can anyone help with this issue.
