I have a 2005 polaris sportsman 90 it will not crank. it will turn over just not crank. i put a new spark plug. what can i check next?

I had the same issue. I pulled the carb out and cleaned it. It was full of sludge from the gas. I had to clean it 3 times before I could get it to start.
