i think better to change the engine oil for that one.for better results consult your nearest mechanic.
Have you checked the lambda probe? It is a few hundred quid but fixed the problem for me. Get a garage to run a diagnostic to check that this is the problem before you get it done.
A bad radiator could be the cause, or the car might have a blown head gasket which would cause it to overheat.
Customer had a similar problem with a 99 Windstar. Stopped pulling while driving it. Had it towed to me and I replaced the torque convertor. Problem fixed.

If it is the same or similar to an 87, there are a few small bolts holding the motor in place in its duct on the firewall (on the engine side), near the passenger side of the vehicle. Depending on the engine, getting it out may be a little difficult. There are also wires attached to terminals on the motor that must be removed by gently pulling them off.

If its a Olds Cutlass Supreme, its a fairly easy process. Grab the turn signal stalk firmly near its base. Gently wiggle, and slightly twist while pulling it out. Replace with the new stank and plug in the small plug at the base of the stalk. And your done If you are talking about a Olds Cutlass Ciera, its not a easy process, and I pay to get it done.

The rear license plate bulbs on a 1996 Olds Cutlass Supreme are replaced by removing the retaining screws, pulling the light assembly out, and disconnecting the wiring harness. The bulb can then be twisted to remove it and a new bulb put in place.
I found the easiest way to do remove the woodgrain faceplate is to take a small scewdriver, and bend the end of it until it is hooked shaped, then put the hook behind the faceplate one corner at a time, slowly pulling out until each corner pops loose. Its the best way I know how, I have took many off this way with no damage to the faceplate.
