It depends on where the leak is coming from, first step is to identefy the source, second is to find a solution to fix the problem. now if the leak is comming from the head then there are several things you can do one is cheak the head itself if it is craked than you need a new head, if it is leaking from the base at witch the head meets the block than you need a head gasket. If you are leaking from the block than you need a new motor, and so on and so on, but to finalize this awnser there are different products you can use to help temporarly, but ultimitely you need to find the leak and repair accordingly. excuse the mispelled words!!
If it is A four cylinder the top gasket on the engine cover leaks sometimes. If this is true it is an easy repair and the part is not expensive. I have done 2 engines like this an Escape and a Fusion. The second one took me 1.5 hrs.
