There is not a model 14814220 for the Kenmore Vintage Sewing machine; this number is the part number.
It means that the sewing machine is the E1 model manufactured by Brother (the company). This would be helpful, for example, should you lose the manual and need to find it online, using the model.
The Kenmore's made by Janome have a source code of "385." This would be all Kenmores since about 1990-ish. In the 1970's and 1980's most of the Kemores either had a "158." (Jaguar/Maruzen) or "148." (Soryu) source code, but there was one Necchi made model in that time frame with the "340." prefix. I found a site that said the Kenmore model 158 12511 was made in 1975.
I would also love a copy of the manual if possible! AnswerNot sure if you still need it or not. I have the manual to this machine and can thread it with no problem. It is a great machine. If you would like I can scan the parts of the manual that you need. Let me know. I have a Kenmore 148.12071. It has a motor with a model #5186, are we talking about the same machine?hi-the model #5186 is for the motor on the sewing machine only. open the bottom of the machine- the model number for the machine is there. If your number reads #148.12071, like mine does, sears Kenmore has the manual available. go to searspartsdirect.com. , or call 1-800-252-1698. it is expensive; cost me almost $20.00 to ship it to me.
I do believe you have a 1921 model, but according to the singer website, for a machine that old, you would need to email or call them in order to get the model type.
Your wards model 600 ERI was made by Remington arms company. The Remington model SPT 58 Is the same firearm.I would contact Remington Arms directly and see if one is available.
Now, in 2009, your 1904 Singer sewing machine would be 105 years old.
It depends on the condition of the machine. A fully working machine with a working coin acceptor would be worth anywhere from $250 to $550.
Is it a cabinet model 380? the cabinets go from $25 to $375 though some ask more. I just got one with a machine singer touch tronic, with accessories for $25. Depends on where you are. It depends on the machine in it for a better price though some said that the cabinet was what was worth something, the machine, not.
Directly from Westinghouse would your best first bet...
The CL is a Model designator. The C is generally the 3rd generation of that particular model machine. The L usually designates that machine as having a longer (than normal) set of crawler tracks. An example would be Cat 320CL Excavator
