I have a very bad cough that has been for two years and now can taste blood when coughing. my chest hurts without coughing and during coughing. what can this mean?

First, go see a doctor immediately.
Anything other than air and mucus coming out of your lungs is abnormal, blood indicates that there is damage in your lungs, possibly due to infection (Pneumonia, Tuberculosis, etc.) or, worse, cancer.
You should definitely see a doctor immediately -- lung conditions should always be taken seriously.
