I have almost a two centimeter overbite and I have big front teeth that stick out im really self conscious and I hate my smile what can I do to fix this?

GO TO THE DENTIST! but don't be scared. i go to the dentist all the time so time to tell you parents if you did not and go to the dentist

Does a dental retainer help for overbite before braces?
Yes. They push back your overbite and when your overbite is small enough your orthodontist will fit you with train tracks. In my first two months, I went from 9mm overbit to 6, then two months later 6mm to 3. I have an orthodontist appointment tomorrow and am due to get train tracks this may but will almost definitely be fitted with them earlier. They really improve your bite and they make a big difference to your teeth even before you get train tracks. Am I rambling? I am.
