I have an IUD in place and have been feeling pressure in my belly and have not had a period so I took a home pregnantcy test but it said neg. could that be false?

Any lab test can give a false result. Urine pregnancy tests normally detect pregnancy that happened 10-12 days ago or more. Repeat the test in a week. See your health care provider if you get new or increased symptoms.
