if you havent started your periods this is what it could be. If you have started your periods and this is occurring before or after you period is about to start it could b spotting if its possible it isn't spotting i would go seek a doctors opinion answer ovulation bleeding or implantation bleeding

brown spotting is just old blood leaving the system before the fresh blood comes out. it happens to everyone. but if unusual things are happening you should see your doctor just to be safe
Since birth control has hormones in them and if you quit it can take a few months for your periods to settle down. Spotting is very common. However, it's always a good idea to see your doctor and have him/her explain everything to you.
If you are looking "not to be pregnant" you are probably in luck. Spotting is an early indication of a late period, in your case.
