Why does opiates make using smokeless tobacco better?
In my experience, smokeless tobacco rather makes opiates more euphoric. One study suggests that nicotine and other chemicals in tobacco cause the opiate metabolites to break down faster, therefor increasing the "rush" and overall feeling. For example, when I take around 80mg of oxycodone (tolerance I know) and then smoke a few cigarettes or pack a lip of chewing tobacco, the opiate seems to kick in faster and I go on the nod a lot faster. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy the following effect. The downsides to using both these drugs together are subjective but: 1. Using tobacco and opiates greatly reenforces the addictive properties of both drugs. 2. If I've taken a lot of opiates throughout the day, even with my tolerance (I usually take around 180-200mg daily), I tend to get extremely nauseated and the chance of vomiting increases significantly (trust me on this heh).
