∙ 11y agoIt would have helped to know the name of the university. However, there are many colleges and universities that require the TOEFL for individuals whose first language is not English. If the school makes no mention of it, then I would assume they do not include this as a part of their admissions procedure. Now, many students attempt to bypass the TOEFL and do not indicate that English is not their first language if asked, and this will present problems for the student once they are admitted. I would suggest you contact the institution and inquire whether the school requires a TOEFL anyway, just to make sure. In the long run it will be much better, and you will be able to continue without interruption.

∙ 11y agoStanford University does not have a required score for the ACT. Their admissions is based on your GPA, courses you have taken, test scores, and other factors. However, most students have an ACT score between 29 and 34.
Not really, you need a 179 to get into Harvard. But since you are asking if this is a good score, I assume you havent actually taken the test yet. But good luck with law school.
One's partner does not affect the other partners score because score are based on the individual consumer. But if a lender is asking for both individual's information ie) co-sign loan, then both scores may be taken into consideration since both are responsible for the loan if the other does not pay on time.

Colleges take the highest reading score, the highest math score and the highest writing score out of all the tests you've taken. So if there was a really bad essay topic, you can take it again and they will take the higher of the scores.
