Acetone -the main ingredient in finger nail polish remover can be purchased at most paint stores- I would apply acetone to the sheets-let soak and vigorously rub stain until the polish disolves and then wash separately in the washer- or in the kitchen sink

The word "razor" originates from the Old French word "rasour," which comes from the Latin word "rasorium," meaning "a scraping tool."
You could try carefully scraping with a razor similar to how a body shop removes paint runs and then wet sand and polish the area with a high quality body shop polish. Ask at your local body shop or paint repair place for a quote if you don't want to attempt this yourself

It depends a great deal on what type of glue you are dealing with. Most glues are best removed by scraping them off with a razor blade - the same way you remove paint. Some glues can be softened by applying an appropriate solvent such as acetone or toluene which then makes the glue easier to remove. Some glues can be softened by CAREFUL application of heat such as from a blow dryer or heat gun. A few glues can be reduced to ash with a lower temperature flame and then wiped away. It really depends on the composition of the glue.
Chrome polish supposedly works. But I found that warming the bike up, applying oven cleaner, and then CAREFULLY scraping with a razor flattened against the pipe works better with less effort. Be careful with the oven cleaner contacting your skin, however.

The best way to remove a sticker from a car window is to first apply a solvent, such as rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover or vegetable oil. Once the solvent is applied, a razor should be used to scrape the sticker off, starting in the upper corner and working its way down. More solvent may be applied if necessary.
