I just bought four 6.5 pioneers speakers for my integra car the sound is great but bass is horrible will an amp stop the bass from being distorted when I turn up the volume. they are midhigh?

I would bet it would. Getting a sub woofer would be even better though. If you get a sub with an amp that has a cross over on it, you wouldn't have to worry about bass on your 6.5 pioneers.
