If you used hypo-allergenic jewelry you may be in for trouble....They may work well for earrings but not for exotic body piercing....They contain more trace elements of lead & nickel, and are not up to the task.

Personally I use 316 lvm annealed implantation stainless, which is much better than straight 316 L....Or even better is gt-23-ti grade of titanium, which is what they make pacemakers out of. I understand that they do not allow 316L to be used for initial piercings in Great Britain, and other countries in Europe.. Hope this helps..

Q: I just piericed my lip and I've done it before I've read all the precatiouns all the safety things and done them all. its cleann. you know those Hypo algergenic ringsi used that is it safe?
