you can do it but you just have to untick/tick all of them you want every time you get a new song
If the song is permanently deleted from every source you have, you will just have to pay for it again.
To get an iTunes library, you need to first have iTunes which can be downloaded off of the Apple site. The next step is getting music. If you download from Apple iTunes online library, it is .99 cents a song, and is automatically put in your library. If you put a CD into the computer, iTunes gives you the alternative to import those songs into iTunes. To get to an itunes library, you have to have an ipod and hook it up and it will pop up. There is no use for an itunes library if you don't have an ipod. itunes is like windows media player for the ipod. you can use it for music and to sync to your ipod. Hope this helped! :)
Once you have loaded your iPod with music you do not have to do anything with the iTunes software. You can use iTunes to listen to music while working on the computer. You can connect your iPod to iTunes every so often and check if there are any software updates for the iPod. If you find new music that you like you can add that to your iTunes library and then it will be added to your iPod the next time you connect it.
No, it will sync every copy to your iPod exactly the same as in iTunes Library
The phone must be apple(e.g. iPhone) and iTunes on your iPhone will be updated every time you plug it into your computer that you use for iTunes.
When you attach an ipod to a computer for the first time it will ask you if you want to manage your music automatically or manually. Automatically means that every time you hook up your ipod it will sync all the songs from your itunes library to the ipod and wipe out all songs on your ipod that are not in your itunes library. Manually means that when you hook up your ipod it will not sync anything: You have to manually drag the songs from itunes to your ipod. Now if you want to go the other way (get music from your ipod and put it in itunes) that's harder. Itunes doesn't allow you to burn discs from playlists on your ipod so you need to be creative. What you have to do is go to "My Computer" and under the folder options you need to "show hidden files and folders". The ipod music is hidden (for safety reasons) so depending on your computer you'll need to do a bit of searching. Once you find them they'll be labeled with code letters (AJDK for e.g. ) Some will show you the title of the song when you put your cursor over them or check the file properties, but otherwise when you click on them they'll be added to your itunes library. A lot of work for just a simple thing but it works every time.

Yes. But you can make playlists with your songs in them instead of checking every single song in your music library.
There is only one way around this solution, but it is very tedious work. When you buy a song on the iTunes app, and enter your iTunes password, it will have you download it for free since you already bought it in iTunes before (keep in mind that you repeat the process for every individual song you have). Other than this, there is no way to get the music without a computer.
The iTunes application is free for both Mac & Windows, however the music itself is mostly a paid on a per song/album basis. That said, Apple does give away one song every week.
iTunes updates every Sunday night or Monday morning, it varies.
