I like my best guy friend and I've always thought he might've liked me too 'because he flirts and stuff but yet he's always coming to me about his girl problems and I feel bad any suggestions?

Lots of things depend on your ages, but it seems like you are 15-16 year old guys. Surely you like your best friend lots, but you didn't say 'how' you like him. Very good friends should be able to talk about just about everything. If you trust one another fully, remind him how much you like him as your closest buddy and how you would always confide in him if you had anything really important to talk about. Ask him gently and slowly if the flirting that you perceive is really flirting. Explain to him that you are flattered by the flirting and glad it is coming from your best friend... From that point, it is up to you to decide if you want to pursue things beyond flirting; and it is up to your buddy if he will open up to you. If you don't want to know your friend more intimately, tell him you will always be there for him to talk to you about both his gf issues and possibly some boy / boy issues. And also say how glad you are that he thought enough of your friendship that he came to you to talk.... Good luck, whichever way this plays out... Gary L

id say the best thing you could do is tell an authority like a guidance councilor. i would not advise doing anything like sneaking her out or telling her to run away ( if you thought that ), because that could cause more problems. you could always talk to your friendly neighborhood parents when in need too.
