Take it slow. Just try to find some stuff about him from his friends. If you are worried, just tell a friend you trust and they can help you. If he says hi to you without you talking to him, tell him you like him and then ask him if he wants to be friends. Hopefully he will take it ok! If he doesnt notice you, just be his friend, share his passions, etc. Then, once you get REALLY close to him and you are like best friends and you feel ready, just ask him if he wants to be more than friends! If he says yes, congratulations, keep it up! If not, there are PLENTY more fish in the sea! And also if he doesnt, just ask him if he wants to still be friends. I'd join a sport or an extra curricular activity at school. Normally putting yourself out there and doing things with the other students at school will get you closer to people and you will get to know a few of them, you will find interests that you both have and make a friend or two. Making ONE friend is the first step, once you make that one friend, other friends will come along. But you need to put yourself out there and join in after school projects and or sports.
