I looked up a product and it's model number was 33162 but when I searched for it in stores I could only find 33162H or 33162R and am wondering what does a letter behind a product number mean?

They are sometimes used as new version releases a being the first b later etc etc. They are also use to denote additions of capability of the product. a may have sound b might have recording ability etc etc.
