I missed my shot date now my period is back. Can i wear tampons until i go get my shot in two days?

You can use tampons to deal with the bleeding, but you need to make sure to use the lowest absorbency as you won't know your flow pattern to know what absorbency to use safely. It would be much better to use pads or cups to reduce your risks, also no discomfort from risk of pulling out dry tampons if your flow lessens. Using tampons will have no effect on the shot so in that area there's no problem.

Get back on the pill and use a back up method until you have taken 7 pills in 7 days. If you were more than half way through the packet you were taking skip the inactive pills in the packet and go straight to the active pills in your next packet. If you were still in the first week just start taking the pills as if you had not missed any, but you will still need to use back up BC until you have taken 7 pills in 7 days.
