I need to convince my girlfriend to stop drinking so much to the point of passing out having already threatened to leave but that doesnt bother her cos she would rather have fun any ideas?

Well I'm going to tell you something you probably deep down already know but don't want to admit it. But just in case you don't, have you ever heard of "Tough Love" well this is the time to practice it. Leave! And don't come back until she gets help! I know it's damn hard but you have to do it or your words to her will mean nothing and she knows it and won't take you seriously. If she doesn't then it was not meant for you two to be together. Believe me I know after attending hundreds of Alanon meetings and open AA meetings they will tell you the same thing even recovering alcoholics will tell you the same thing. She also has to want to get better and even see she has a problem. Do an intervention get everyone that is the closest to her and have them let her know what her drinking is doing or going to do to her life. I was married to an Alcoholic for 11 years and believe me I know the sorrow you endure but you can't do it for her. I really know, you see I lost my ex-husband in July because he never stopped even after our three kids and I left. The beer can was his best friend and that beer can along with the cigarettes and later drugs killed him!
