I put movies on my Nokia 6085 model phone but they lag really bad How can I stop the movies from lagging without having to buy anything and by the way my phone doesn't have internet?

Make sure that the input format is in 3gp and you have enough space in phone memory.
Check the resolution of your video file(it should not be grater than your screen resolution)
Compressing files too much may also be the cause of such types of problems.
