I quit calling my ex a year ago i was tired of his rejection he always calls me and if i do not answer his calls he will call over and over again until i answer he left me after 23 yrs for another why?

You have to take things into your own hands. Change your number and any other means he may have of contacting you and make sure he does not get it, if for some reason he comes over make it quite clear you do not want to have contact with him and if need be get a restraining order. Don't allow him to harrass you in such a manner he made his choice and that's it - move on.
