The only person who can stop that from happening is God. You can become a Christian if you are not already one, by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died on the cross for your sins, and asking Him into your heart. Then you can tell the thing that is stalking you to leave in the name of Jesus. It won't work if you are not sincere though in wanting to follow Christ.

My suggestion is that if you fear that your life in endangered by a supernatural force, that you find another supernatural force to counteract it. If an evil like a demon exists, then by the same logic, a good like God also exists. The first step would be to pray for deliverance. The next step would be to do everything in your power to help your prayer be made real. ... So what you can do is find a spiritual leader. A missionary or a bishop or a priest or someone, and tell them your problem. See if they will bless you and dismiss the evil. I don't know about how many religions would deal with the situation, but I know the Mormon missionaries would do everything they could to help. Prayer and a blessing should help, but if they do not for some reason, then you might want to see a doctor and make sure you are not hallucinating. I am not accusing you of mental illness at all, but with something scary like this, it is something all of us would have to consider. Start with taking it seriously, and do all you can do. Talk to God about it, seek spiritual help. But if God directs you to see a doctor, please do.
