Hi there! Thought you might want to know it's impossible to conceive the day before your period starts. Your body needs time to ripen an egg, release an egg, and for the egg to(at least start to) travel down the fallopian tube and all that takes more than 1 day. :) You also need a different body temperature. When you are fertile (able to get pregnant) your temperature is always lower than when you are in fertile. By as much as .3 degrees. It not the same right before you period starts, that is when your body has a temperature that is higher.
Now obviously this doesn't solve your question about why you missed your period, but at least it gives you a little info. Now, you can maybe think back again to whether or not you had any "activties" more recently than 1 day before your last period which could cause you to get pregnant. If you have, then YES, you can take the test now. 5 day slate should be enough to know.
If you haven't then you really can not be pregnant.
Also, you should think about how your last period was. Was it light? (Not much blood flow, more like drips and spotting, or was it a normal period with at least 1 day of heavy bleading?) If it was light then it is possible that you could have gotten pregnant (If you had activities) as much as 2 weeks before what YOU consider your last period but what MIGHT have in fact been Implantation bleeding. Implantation bleeding is a small amount of bleeding that many woman have when the baby's embryo attaches to the uterine wall in order to get nutrients from it's mom and keep growing.
Anyways, good luck! I hope you have a good result no matter what you are hoping for.
Some women have periods during pregnancy but it is uncommon. Best way to know is to take a Early Home pregnancy test.
if you missed a period, (or it's been about a month since you think you conceived it) then you can finally buy a pregnancy test and see..
if you think you conceived on the12th of october you need to wait until the 12th of November at least 1 month until you miss a period
Yes you can.
The first symptoms of pregnancy normally come just after your first missed period, but the most common symptom is feeling tired and having this feeling that you are pregnant.
You will. I read in a book that if you get pregnancy during your period, it will keep on going, so I think its the same thing.
The best would be to ask your pharmacist. If your periods are regular, you can take the test the day after that when your period would normally start. But just to make sure and not waste your money, wait for another two or three days - then do the test.
5 days before your missed period i think. that's not with all pregnancy tests tho.
Nipple tenderness can be a sign of your period or early pregnancy. Take a pregnancy test if you think you're pregnant.
I think pregnancy can be detected as early as 21 days after conception through a test such as ClearBlue, that's whether you are on a period or not.
There are some early pregnancy tests on the market that can show results up to a week before your next period is due, but I think that the most reliable is to wait until your period is actually late, even by a few days, before you take a home test.
It depends on the pregnancy test really, the newer ones can tell you that you're pregnate i think a week before you missed period, but if you've already missed your period any test should be able to tell you.
