I would suggest that you study first then go apply for bartending jobs that's what I did. I always wanted to study to become a bartender. I knew that working as bartender I could makes good money! And I needed a good money making job! I have been attending FSU and I didn't have alot of time or money to go to a bartending school. I was told that bartending school was a rip off all the money you have to pay for the class , so I did some checking around and I found out that there is a book that you can order on line for $37.00 really cheap for what you get ! alot of people who want to learn how to bartend have studied this bartending book Its called Bartendingexposed.com. I am bartending now thanks to that book! I make about 150.00 nightly plus a pay check every 2 weeks. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn how to become a bartender it teaches you everything that you need to know. I studied in my free time.. it was great. How long does bartending school last?
I went over to a bartending school in Ft Myers Fl and I talked to a teacher. She said that they offer different classes for different prices and classes last 4 to 6 weeks. The cost was 400.00 for basic bartending. Someone reccommend that I order a bartending book on line so I did. I t was only 37.00. I would recommend this bartending book also. I have a job now as a bartender. I had to study the book and learn my drink recipes. But after studying I went and found a job. You can go to a school, but I thought Id save you the time and money if I told you that you do not have to go to a school . What do you think about bartending?
I think bartending is a great job! But it is not as easy as it looks. You meet a lot of people and I like working at night because we have bands here at the bar on weekends. I make great money. I was working for a Doctors office but I had a hard time paying my bills. I had always wanted to bartend. And I had heard that bartenders made good money, so I checked into a couple of bartending schools close by. I could not afford to pay 500.00 . I noticed that there were people ordering a bartending e-book called bartendingexposed it was very reasonable it only cost me 37.00. I just studied when I came home at night from work.
