This is a common problem with first time Sata HDD users. Don't worry see carefully in your Motherboard you have 4 slots where you can plug the 'RED' cable of the HDD. Try plugging it in each of the slot, it works if you try again and again. If all fail just pull out all the cables of HDD wipe them clean and try again.
P.S. - check for scribbling noise from the HDD if its there go replace it at once they wount charge you (if its under warrenty!).

There might be a problem of drivers. Windows XP does not include the SATA drivers but during setup you can provide additional drivers using a floppy disk. There is also a trick that allows you to integrate the SATA driver on your install CD using nLite

People have had varied experiences with Windows Vista. Some have found it to be more efficient than XP; others have found it to be slower than XP.
There is no need to have a copy of Windows XP, as Windows XP Mode (which is a feature part of Windows 7 Professional and Ultimate) comes with a fully licensed version of Windows XP with Service Pack 3. A step-by-step instructions on how to download and install Windows XP Mode for Windows 7 can be found at related links section of this question.
I also found out that I have to preform clean install to have 64-bit version of Windows 7 because I have 32-bit version of XP. Can I install it on one hard disc without loosing my data on another hard disc. Is this clean installation going to delete data from one hard disc where I want to install it or is it going to delete data from both hard disc including one I don't plan to install Windows on?
I have seen a few places. The best one is Custom Order Online. at customorderonline.com. But remember, they only sell the windows not install them. You have to find some one to install it. They have a lot of different kids of windows, wood vinyl and aluminum. I have found a lot of useful information like how to measure, how to install brochure etc on their site. Good Luck
This mainly depends on what type of USB adapter you are trying to troubleshoot, and what it is you are trying to connect it to. If it is a WWireles USB adapter going into a computer, then it will allow you to connect to WiFi. To use this you just plug the USB cable into the USB port. Then you might see a window on the computer screen saying New Drivers Found and it will ask you to install these New Drivers. Click Install and then you will have access to WiFi on that computer.
Both are fairly easy to install. Apache is far easier to install on versions of Windows that are not supported by IIS, such as Windows XP Home. In Windows XP Pro, it is as simple as using the Add / Remove Windows components for IIS, and running a simple installer for Apache. XP Home requires manually copying and tweaking. IIS and Apache are more often found bundled in a Linux distro or Windows Server installation, in which the installation of Apache or IIS (respectively) will be automated.
Install the soundcard driver. It can typically be found by going to Fujitsu Siemens website and doing a search for your computername :)
