My best friends husband pulled the same s**t with her. So she pulled out all of the receipts she still had & went through their bank statements, made a list of everything HE bought & everything SHE bought & then the both agreed on items, to show him, it was NOT only her that was spending the money! Shut his up real fast! Lol! However, this may not be the correct answer for everyone. OR… If you honestly feel (and NOT guilted into thinking it) that you did do this by mistake, you could always simply offer to pay a portion off here & there when you can as long as he's willing to not make you feel bad about it, since mistakes do happen. Plus depending on your ages, does he realize it does coast more to house 2 people, everything will be more $ now.
Discovering that your husband has been living with another woman and they have bought a house together is a difficult situation. It's important to address the issue with your spouse and have an open, honest conversation about your feelings and concerns. Seeking the support of a therapist or counselor could also be helpful in navigating through this difficult time and deciding on the best course of action for your relationship.
