I work in a restaurant located in phoenixs area They take 5 dollar from every pay check to cover possible accidents with plates and glasses this restaurant charge us even for all mistkes.is this legal?

This is NOT LEGAL! They can not make you pay for ANYTHING (not even if a guest walks out on a check) Read the labor laws in your state - print it out and bring it to your boss. They absolutely can not charge you for anything - especially if they are taking $5.00 every pay check.... what if you DIDNT break anything? they are robbing you. It is bad enough that some restaurants take a percentage of your tips off credit cards to cover credit card charges on their behalf!!!!!!
