Molocules do not make new elements. Elements only change during atomic reactions, primarily nuclear fusion in stars.

The atoms in a molecule are always the same, during chemical reactions they are only being rearranged. The oxygen you breathe in and the carbon dioxide that you breathe out, for example, are made of the same oxygen atoms.

How are reactant elements or molecules different than the compound produced in a chemical reaction?

reactant elements and molecules are used in a chemical reaction, they are not mixed or combined or produced in a chemical reaction.

What reactants are in chemical reaction?

The elements or molecules that participate in a chemical reaction and yield a product.

Can new elements be produced in a chemical reaction can new molecules be produced through a chemical reaction?

New elements can by obtained only by nuclear reactions.New molecules can be obtained by chemical reactions.

What are reactants in a chemical reaction?

The elements or molecules that participate in a chemical reaction and yield a product.

When elements or molecules combine to form a new compound what reaction it occurs?

synthesis.. The answer is Chemical Reaction

What is substitute reaction?

A substitution reaction is when a functional group in a particular chemical compound that is replaced by another group. Functional groups are specific groups of atoms within molecules that are responsible for the characteristic chemical reactions of those molecules. A chemical compound is a pure chemical substance consisting of two or more different chemical elements, which can be separated into simpler substances by chemical reactions.

Why can't compounds be decomposed into elements in a chemical reaction?

They can be! Compounds can certainly be decomposed into individual elements in a chemical reaction.

What is elements or compounds that enter into a chemical reaction?

A reactant or reactants enters into a chemical reaction to form product(s)

What are elements or compounds produced by a chemical reaction?

products are produced after a chemical reaction.

Will a chemical reaction in different molecules trade positions with exchange reaction?

An exchange reaction is defined as a chemical reaction in which two different molecules or pairs of molecules exchange places. So yes, a chemical exchange reaction will result in different molecules trading positions.

What is the appropriate definition for chemical reaction in terms of science?

A chemical reaction is a reaction in which elements have their chemical and/or physical properties altered by the end of the reaction.

What is a compound and are compounds related to molecules?

A chemical compound is a pure chemical substance that consists of two or more different chemical elements which can be separated into simpler substances by a chemical reaction. A molecule is the smallest unit of a compound.
