No, it shouldn't - home pregnancy tests test for the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin. This hormone is not in Birth Control pills. There *are* other reasons that you could test positive for HCG, like weird tumors and such, but more likely it is just plain old early pregnancy! Test again tomorrow or in a few days, and the test should be more positive. If it doesn't, it may have been a missed pregnancy (early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy) - false positive home pregnancy tests seem to be unheard of. In case you really are pregnant, you should make sure to start on a prenatal/folic acid, contact your doctor or planned parenthood, and cut out bad habits like alcohol and smoking, no matter what your eventual decision may be. Good luck! =-]
It could hurt your baby
No, UTIs do not affect the accuracy of pregnancy tests.
Idon't no
No kind of food can affect HPT's, but if you are testing early & drink a lot of water before the test, it could come out a false neg. The water dilutes your urine.
Yes. You could be testing too early.
You will miss your period, have pregnancy symptoms, or you could take a home pregnancy test or see your Dr.
No, being sick or having a viral illness will not affect the results of a pregnancy test. ~pawsalmighty
it could saturate it, so the reading is unclear. I would do the test again to be sure.
Yes. To get a urine test, go to your doctor. But instead of that you could just go buy a pregnancy test. Same thing, you pee on it. Yes, a urine dipstick can detect human chorionic gonadotrophin (HcG) levels in urine at about 2 weeks gestation
Try taking a pregnancy test....
Im sure that any drug could affect a pregnancy test.
A medication with HCG will effect the pregnancy test results. Nothing else apart from this will effect a test result.
