No...they would have suffered mass extinction. The US was prepared to drop three more atomic weapons on Japan if they had not surrendered when they did.
Some things people in the world suffer are: starvation, poor health, financial problems, emotional issues, discrimination, lack of employment, and many others.
WW2 ended when Japan surrendered because they were the last Axis power that continued to fight.
In World War 2, Germany suffered more casualties than either Italy or Japan. Only Russia and China suffered more casualties than Germany.
The rebuilding of Japan
If you mean outside the obvious Japan, many areas of pacific Asia, including Hawaii and even to some extent California, suffered tremors and waves. Not to mention, Japan is/was a major economic center, and the Dow Jones (of the United States) fell immensely following the earthquake, and stocks all over the world suffered greatly from the economic (the social, life, etc.) destruction that Japan suffered from the quake. Indeed, the lives lost can never be replaced, and it would take many nation's mutual effort to rebuild Japan to the great nation it was.
It was Germany for the most with 2,036,897 and Japan would probably be the least with 415.
The colonists faced many hardships during their first several months in he New World. They suffered from disease, hunger, and lack of adequate shelter.
nothing
When WWII started, Japan suffered no set-backs; like their partner Germany, they were on a "roll."
No! The US actually traded heavily with Japan in an effort to get their economy back onto a non-wartime basis. The trading has continued to this day.
Iran was the nation that suffered the fewest casualties in WWII numbering only 200 resistance soldiers. The Soviet Union was the nation that suffered the greatest number of casualties in World War II numbering over 23 million.
Japan had already established itself as one of the world's richest and productive countries by the time World War 1 started. After WW1 it continued to grow. As far as politics go, however, Japan only created their constitution in 1947 with a Bill of Rights very similar to that of the USA. Today, Japan is a high performing democracy.
