Jesus is not God. God was never risen from the dead.

IMPROVEMENT UPON THAT ANSWER:

Jesus is and was very much God. The men who walked with Jesus and learned from Him for 3 1/2 years all agree that Jesus is a part of God. God came down from heaven and lived in human form. Some people find this hard to believe. The Muslim religion rejects this because they say it is disrespectful that a huge God would live in a small, nasty human body. The truth is that God created all the fine details (physics, chemistry, DNA, etc) of the universe by simply speaking. If God is capable of doing that, than He is capable of taking on a human body.

When I said "part of God" what I meant is that Jesus is part of the Holy Trinity that makes up God. In genesis 18 we see God walking in human flesh and talking to Abraham. During the baptism of Christ the apostles tell us that the holy spirit descended on him in the form of a dove. While this is happening God also spoke from heaven. Here we have three very separate "parts" of God all interacting with each other (Matthew 3:16-17) This clearly shows that God is not made up of a single person or entity.

To answer your question though. Jesus said that he voluntarily gave up his body to die, and he used his own strength to be raised back to life. (John 10:17)

Sometimes we forget that people are both spirit as well as physical body. Jesus was a perfect combination of God and man because He had God's spirit living in a human body. Just as we have a soul within us, Jesus had the spirit of God within him. When Jesus's body died, his spirit did not stop existing. The spirit of God that lived in the body of Jesus continued to exist as the spirt of God. Because of this, He had the power to raise His own body back to life.

Please also remember that God exists as three separate people. If Jesus' spirit somehow died with his body, there would still be God the father, and the holy spirit to bring him back to life.

Please let's not forget that the point of Jesus's death and ressurection was to atone for our sins. He died to pay the penalty that we all deserve. Every single person does terrible things. We have all lied, stolen, blasphemed God, and committed some form of adultery (Jesus said that lusting after someone besides your spouse is adultery) Because of this, we are all guilty of breaking God's law. Because we are guilty of breaking God's law we all stand guilty before God when He judges us. Jesus said that we will be judged for every word we speak and every action we do. He also said that many, many people will go to hell because of their sins. Because God loves us He made a way for us to be forgiven for ous sins so that we can avoid hell and spend eternity with Him in heaven. When Jesus died on the cross He took God's judgment on himself. He paid for our sins so that we can be forgiven in the eyes of God. The Bible says that in order to receive this forgiveness we have to do two things. We have to humble ourselves before Jesus and admit that we need his salvation. We have to admit that we cant do it on our own, and trust in him for our forgiveness. We also have to repent of our sins. Repentance means to turn away from something. In other words, to try to stop doing something. This will be the easy part. When we become sons and daughters of God through the forgiveness of Jesus, God said he will clean our souls and give us a desire to do the right thing. We will WANT to do the right thing. The Apostle Paul said that we will be a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old will be gone, and the new will come.

Please, remember that we all die and we will all stand before God. When this happens, will you be forgiven? or will you face the consequences of the sins we all commit? Please seek forgiveness in Jesus.
