If Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep takes place 10 years before the first Kingdom Hearts how come during the secret movie at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2 u see terra aqua and ventus pick up soras weapon?

Remember, Birth by Sleep is a pre-sequel to Kingdom Hearts I. The secret movie at the end of Kingdom Hearts II is part of the opening and ending cut scenes of Birth by Sleep. Terra gave Riku the ability to wield a Keyblade, but as Riku grew older, he chose darkness over light and the Keyblade chose Sora instead as Riku's body was possessed by Ansem.
