This is coming from an strictly academic point of view: the bible states what will happen in the final battle and that is; Satan will lose. If one is to believe in the concept of Satan and the Rapture, one must believe in the words of The Bible which describes what will happen in the final days and it states thus:
"And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever." (Rev 20:10)
Thus, if God and religion are real, Satan will never win.
