Somewhere most likely between the engine and the firewall.

Confused by what part you mean by the filter top and the selector valve housing. If you mean between the filter body and the filter head, it means you need to replace the gasket between the two. Simply remove the filter head and inspect the gasket that sits between the filter and the filter head. If there are any tears or several nicks in it, go to a pool store and just pick up a new one. If you mean the filter head is leaking, it most likely means the spider gasket is leaking and needs to be replaced
It most likely means something's up with your starter or it's electrical components/wiring.

If hilux has a filter it should be behind the glove box. Most likely you will have to remove the box in order to get access to the filter.
The filter is most likely in the area of the return box. This box is usually located beneath the system. If you have a gas furnace the filter may be behind the bottom door. It is possible that you have a return filter grill which would be on the wall or in the ceiling. You must figure out how the system is getting its return air and that is the most likely place to look for the filter.
Most likely there is a panel door inside your glovebox.
Depending on the year, the blazers fuel filter is most likely on the frame. While covering the connection with a rag, loosen the fuel lines from the filter. Remove the filter and replace, then reconnect the lines.
Most likely the fuel filter is plugged up from gas tank sediment. Change the filter.
