- Best friends means you are always there for each other even though you may have some arguments or misunderstandings. Good communication skills are the key to your problem. You do not know if your best friend is depressed; sad or what is going on and this is not the time to desert your best friend. If you have too go over to your friends house and sit somewhere private and discuss what is going on. That's what good friends do. You may be surprised that your best friend is very trouble about a problem and may discuss it with you. If they don't feel like discussing it then tell them you are best friends; you are there for them and give them some space. If your best friend tells you they have a new best friend or they do not want to see you again this is when you move on.
